Beaches

The heart of Topsail Island — beach access, restaurants, shops. Surf City Waterfront Park has easy parking and restrooms. Great for a full beach day.

The quieter southern end of Topsail Island. Serenity Point (the very southern tip) is stunningly beautiful for quiet walks and photography. The Town Center has food and shops nearby.

A separate municipality at the northern end of Topsail Island — uncrowded and wild with the best shelling on the island. Fewer amenities, so bring everything you need. Worth it for the solitude.

Local favorite along the Intracoastal Waterway — perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, and dolphin watching at dusk. Not a swimming beach but spectacular.
